【Alexion Japan】Associate Director, Market Access & Healthcare Policy
This is what you will do:
The Associate Director, Market Access & Healthcare Policy in Japan is responsible for leading and executing pricing strategies to support the launch and reimbursement of Alexion’s products in Japan. Through key leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams, the role involves mapping out pricing strategy in the broader disease area. The Associate Director will work closely with other members of Market Access & Healthcare Policy and other departments in Japan, as well as global teams.
You will be responsible for:
Report to the Heal of Mkt Access & Healthcare Policy in Japan.
Create and deliver price assumption commercial and development decision
Analyze the impact of potential development & regulatory scenarios, and provide strategic input
Lead to create NHI price negotiation strategy and NHI pricing dossier and execute the negotiation strategy
Lead to mitigate of price cut throughout the lifecycle
Drive cross-functional taskforce team to address critical reimbursement issues of a specific product
Work effective in close collaboration with the other members in Mkt Access & Healthcare Policy and other departments in Japan as well as global teams.
Work with industry association (EFPIA Japan, etc.) to priories rare disease related policy, including pricing items.
You will need to have:
Work experience 3+ in NHI pricing and reimbursementand 1+ new drug price negotiation
Excellent project leader who can effectively manage multiple competing priorities to completion
Experience managing internal resources and external contractors/vendors
Global mindset and ability to work with cross functional teams
Flexibility and adaptability to internal and external change
Excellent teamwork skill
Fluency in English/Japanese writing and speaking communications
We would prefer for you to have:
Understand the global market access landscape
Experiences on rare disease area
HTA experience and negotiation
Experiencein new product planning, marketing, medical, and regulatory are preferred.
Maintain the relationship with external agencies and monitors their performance to ensure that performance and deliverables meet business expectations
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key experts, influencers, and customer segments to foster and maintain Alexion’s credibility to support the value and reimbursement of Alexion products
